KalviYogi Shorts (“we”, “the app”) is a learning app from KalviYogi where students watch short subject-wise lesson videos. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It applies to the website shorts.kalviyogi.com and the KalviYogi Shorts Android app.

What we collect

Account details you give us: full name, mobile number, class, and optionally your school or college, city/district and email address.
Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash. Nobody, including our teachers, can see it.
Learning activity: which shorts you watch, like and save, visible playback time, resume position, estimated lesson completion, daily activity, and when you were last active.
Membership: free or premium access, expiry and account status. Administrators can record a private membership note and changes are logged for account support.
Technical data: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and the network address used for security (for example to block repeated wrong passwords).

How we use it

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To show your liked and saved shorts and your learning progress on any device.
To let your KalviYogi teachers see who is registered and how lessons are being used, so they can improve them.

We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or share your details with advertisers. We do not send SMS or marketing messages to your mobile number.

Who can see your data

Only KalviYogi administrators/teachers signed in to the teacher Studio. Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers (Hostinger) and sent only over encrypted HTTPS connections.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is active. When you delete your account, your profile, likes, saved list, watch history and learning progress are removed immediately. Administrative change logs retain the administrator, action, account identifier and date for accountability; they do not retain your password or playback history.

Children

KalviYogi Shorts is made for school and college students. If you are under 13, please use the app with your parent's or guardian's permission. Parents can ask us to delete a child's account at any time.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
